There is no one way to be trans, or to discover your own gender identitity for sure. Although it may seem tough, reassurance comes with time and education of the trans community. Whether or not you’ve always wanted to be the opposite gender doesn’t immediately make you trans- I know of people who grew up with their gender matching their sex and didn’t have any kind of realization until their mid-teens. Truthfully, determining your gender identity is as original per person as one’s fingerprints. Resources and similar websites will help, but won’t give you all the answers.
